ADIANNA VALENTINE

Adianna Valentine is a dance artist based in New York, With a BFA in contemporary dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), Adianna is classically educated in ballet, modern, and contemporary styles. Adianna is currently a dancer with the Peridance Contemporary Dance Company (PCDC) as an apprentice. During the company’s 2023-24 season, she performed in Igal Perry’s Nutcracker and PCDC’s “Season 41” showcase, where she worked with choreographers Dolly Sfeir and Chanel Dasilva. Under the direction of Deans Susan Jaffe and Endalyn Outlaw, Adianna performed many prestigious works and developed her experience in composition while at UNCSA. Performance highlights from her collegiate years include works by José Limón, Trisha Brown, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Mariana Oliviera, Ashley Lindsey, and Ming Lung-Yang. In addition to her dance career, Adianna augments her passion for dance by teaching the younger generation. She teaches and choreographs for students ranging in ages 7-18 across New York.
