Adianna is currently a new hire of Peridance Contemporary Dance Company in NYC as an apprentice. At the start of this season, she and the company are working on Peridance’s Nutcracker performances under the direction of Artistic Director, Igal Perry.

This past Summer of 2023, Adianna had the honor of touring with the Lauren Blair Smith Dance Company. The company of dancers performed a restaging of Lauren Blair Smith’s “Intruder” in Washington Dc, as well as NYC.

To finish out her senior year at UNCSA, Adianna and her classmates fundraised and organized their own show in NYC as ‘The Pluck Project’. The performance consisted of choreographed solos, and a re-staging of Igal Perry’s group piece, titled “Oceans”.

The Pluck Project got to rehearse in Peridance Center studios with Artistic Director, Igal Perry, and company members.

As a senior at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Adianna choreographed a 6-minute duet that premiered on stage in November ‘22. This composition project called Emerging Choreographers, allowed Adianna to be involved in directing, lighting, and costuming for this piece.

In September ‘22, Adianna had the privilege of learning and performing Mariana Oliveira’s new work titled “Dreamland” as a soloist. The piece premiered at UNCSA’s Fall Dance performance, consuming the stage with the blends of ballet styled movement and theatrical gestures.

This past Summer, Adianna traveled to Moncalvo, Italy to attend Orsolina 28’s Summer Intensive Program. There, she studied repertoire from world class choreographers; Crystal Pite, Marco Goecke, and Jiři Kylián.
